Skandiaverken
ENGINE-BUILDING HERITAGE SINCE 1868
Skandiaverken traces its roots to the late 19th century, when our founding companies began producing diesel engines.
The current organisation was created through the merge of three historic manufacturers: John G. Kincaid & Co. Ltd in Scotland, Construcciones Echevarría S.A. in Spain, and Skandiaverken AB in Sweden. Today, Skandiaverken SLU (Spain) and Skandiaverken Ltd (Scotland) form part of the Zephyr Group.
Throughout manufacturing years, we produced 3,124 licensed diesel engines, both 2-stroke and 4-stroke. This engineering legacy remains at the core of who we are: it gives us deep technical insight and enables us to deliver high-quality spare parts for a broad range of engines worldwide.
Our main warehouse, strategically located near Bilbao International Airport and Port, is supported by sister companies in Singapore, Italy, The Netherlands, Germany, and Colombia. With strong stock availability and an integrated stock-control system, we ensure fast, reliable response to customer needs.
